Doctoral studies concern the preparation and presentation of a doctoral thesis. They start after a bachelor’s degree with the preparation of a Master’s and are followed by the realization of a research project in a recognized research laboratory.
Today, more than 80 post graduates are pursuing their doctorates at the ENSAT.
The Doctoral College of Toulouse offers additional courses to complement thoses offers by all doctorate schools and favours those aiming to work in industry.

Doctorate Schools
The doctorate schools concern the teaching and research of a doctorateconducted over 3 years. As well as studying at the highest level they also offer an apportunity to work with modern industry.
SEVAB (Ecological Sciences, Veterinary, Agronomic and bio-engineers)
This school covers the many labs concerned with the major themes of biologically integrated systems.
Including more than 250 teaching researchers or those placed with over 50 teams offering student places, their job is to answer the needs of quickly changing industries and to understand and help the function of modern engineering, to provide knowledge and solutions to today’s problems in a variety of different fields: ecology, population evolution, agrosystem and ecosystem functioning, food quality and safety, microbiology and industrial biocatalysis.

School of Material Sciences
This doctorate school brings together all the subjects in the domain of organometallic chemistry, renewable energy resource sciences and material engineering. The principal aims are industrial research and higher education.
